About Us

Diamond Showcase

The Diamond Showcase was established in 2006 as one of the original elite recruiting showcase events and has become one of the top recruiting events in the country.  The Showcase events offer the perfect intimate setting for a boutique recruiting experience.  Top players from the US and Canada come together to complete in competitive games in front of college recruiters.  All of the players that attend receive advanced on-field instruction from top college coaches. Parents and Families also attend recruiting seminars from a panel of DI, DII and DIII college coaches which helps families navigate the recruiting process.

Diamond National Team

The Diamond National team was established in 2016 to provide top players supplemental recruiting opportunities in addition to their current high school or club teams. We have players from all over America and Canada playing in our program. Our staff specializes in helping our high school athletes navigate the college recruiting process and find the right fit when looking at schools. The National Teams are all coached by NCAA Division II and III Head and Assistant College Coaches. We play in some of the most competitive and high profile recruiting tournaments that club lacrosse has to offer.

Founders

Ray Schulmeyer - Ray is one of the original founders of Aloha Tournaments and currently serves as its CEO.  While much of his focus is on partnership development and the continued growth of the Company, he is still very much involved in the day to day operations of the business.  Ray and his Aloha co-founder Chris Hutchins have been among the most influential people in the lacrosse world over the past two decades, having been involved at the highest levels of youth and professional lacrosse over that time. In addition to his Aloha duties, Ray currently serves as the President and founding partner of the Warrior World Series of Youth Lacrosse. In 2000, Ray co-founded the Baltimore Bayhawks of Major League Lacrosse and continued to manage the franchise until it was eventually sold to a new ownership group in 2005. In 2004, Ray co-founded the Baltimore Breakers Lacrosse Club, which he continues to run today as one of the nation's premier club programs.  Ray played lacrosse at Cornell University under Hall of Fame coach Richie Moran. Ray graduated from Cornell University with Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees and still is a practicing veterinarian today.

Chris Hutchins - Chris co-founded Aloha Tournaments with Ray Schulmeyer in 1999 and currently serves as its Chief Business Development Officer.  Chris oversees all business development activities and is actively involved with the procurement of athletic facilities.  Chris is also a Partner in the World Series of Youth Lacrosse. Chris has also coached boy's and girl's youth lacrosse in the Towsontowne Recreation program for 15 years, as well as served as its Commissioner for nine years.
